This is the car that was mocked by Jeremy Clarkson. During an episode of Top Gear, the cast was shown a concept for the XF known as the C-XF. Clarkson responded by saying, "If that car comes out like that, I'll saw my leg off and beat myself to death with it" to co-host Richard Hammond. Soon after there have been rumors circulating the C-XF will be in the upcoming 22nd untitled Bond film.


   Looks like Clarkson will be shortly eating his own words as the production version hits the streets March 2008. It will have a few subtle differences from the C-XF such as the front ends new mesh grill. Under the hood there is also a slight difference. Instead of the old S-Type 400bhp, they have fitted a supercharged 420bhp V8 taken from the Jaguar XK.
